Hey Jillian! Thanks for your comment… I know what it feels like to love matcha but have it be so damn expensive. If you’re cooking with matcha, or you’re drinking it for taste not just for it’s fantastic qualities, you don’t have to buy a high grade matcha (which is more expensive). Here in London, in any Chinese grocery store in Chinatown, you can find matcha… I once bought a 100g tin for £14 which is pretty good – 100g goes a LONG way. Is there a Chinatown in Paris you can check out? Otherwise you’d have to buy online. Right now Vitalife Matcha is having a sale if that helps.

I like matcha in ALL WAYS and yes have also made my own matcha latte and matcha frappe LOVE matcha ice cream too! Let me know if you have any issues getting matcha and I’ll try my best to help.

Hello! I am ADDICTED to matcha (or, well, the idea of it, because I love it) but I can’t get my hands on it since 1) it’s too expensive for me (college student… what can I do, right? haha) and 2) I can’t find matcha powder anywhere in Paris anyway (studying abroad – originally from the US). I LOVE cooking and baking and looking at everyone’s pictures and recipes (and omgsh yours kill me and inspire me every day). Do you know where I can get affordable, quality matcha? Also, what is your favorite way to use matcha? I love matcha lattes, except Starbucks is too sugary and the matcha flavor is sometimes overpowered, so one day I want to make my own!
