This time this week, I’m sharing the LOVE! Green & Black’s are HIRING. Seriously? Yes. An assistant for their Head of Taste, to be specific. And if for whatever obscene reason you don’t want to EAT CHOCOLATE as your full time job, you can also apply just to be on their Taste Panel!
I can’t imagine why anyone would not want that job, and while you’re sorting out your resume, why don’t you get moving with this awesome competition! I mean, having the cookbook would surely give you a head start 😉

The book looks so good – saw Micah demonstrating some of the recipes at Chocolate Unwrapped last weekend – amazing mousses just made with grated chocolate, not melted.

ooooooh pick me pick me! love to have this cook book
Oh I do like the look of this book.. I usually just make Ruth Watson’s Sod It chocolate souffle from her Fat Girl Slim book if I want a really chocolatey fix, but this looks like it could give me a lot more ideas!
Drool. Just drool. Being that Hussyband made me leave all my cook books in Oz, I really need tostart a new collection here…and cant think of a better book to have!

generous. I’ll bet that book has brilliant recipes.
The last couple of gallery receptions I brought dark chocolate cakes to, three women lamented that they can’t eat chocolate after 4:00 p.m. or else it keeps them
up all night. Heck, I’m up all night anyway. ( Creeping geezerism. ) I felt sorry for
them. But I do have to bewitch them with chocolate and coffee-flavored sweets to
plant seeds for my business. Many of us use food to push our coffee. I will only
offer the best. I adore the taster process when they slow down the chew and utter
a humyum and roll their eyeballs and lick their fingers,….. then steal seconds when
they think no one is watching. They don’t forget my food, whether sweet or savory.
I am curious about mooncakes. So many different kinds. Are they as good as they look? Can you create a decadent chocolate mooncake? Never heard of one
in chocolate. Wikipedia has a very good write up on the cakes. The visuals wet
the appetite for more.
Hi Linda! I’m sure your food is just as delicious as your coffee 🙂 where is your business? As for mooncakes, I don’t think I’ve ever come across a chocolate one either, and I don’t see why someone shouldn’t try!
Oh I am jealous! I love the first G&B cook book, although my sister cooks from it much more than I do which would leave me with a dilemma were I to win. Do I selfishly keep the book for myself or let her have it as an extra Christmas present.
I’m sorry to say I suspect it would be the former but it may be that I end up buying her a copy of the new book either way!

Hi Nina, I had heard all sorts of bad things about the Hummingbird Cookbook too, like people complaining that the recipes or amounts of ingredients were wrong. I have made quite a number of things out of the cookbook and I haven’t had ANY trouble with the ingredients and amounts at all… I was also a beginner when I started using it! 🙂
