Merry Christmas everyone! To those of you spending it with friends and family, I wish you a fabulous time at home. For those stranded anywhere because of the snow-pocolypse or for any other reason, believe me, this year in particular, my heart goes out to you. I was *this* close to missing Christmas with my friends, but alas, I’m home and grateful for everything.
To everyone, wherever you are, I hope there’s lots of good food involved!

Our dinner was yummy and hubby is a happy eater. He bought me a silver elephant
pendant/charm to go with my elephant coin (from Liberia) and gold necklace. I hope that you got something special from Panu.
Alas! With a huge potful of homemade pulled beef tamales, I can take some to gift
to my friend (1/2 hour away) who, for some strange reason, made corn beef brisket
for Christmas. She will shriek with delight at the jar of homemade candied ginger.
It’s her favorite.
