It’s the little things that make me happy. Blue skies, hugs and matcha kitkats. What really makes me happy though is roast duck, especially roast duck from Four Seasons. Despite the bad service (although, staff at the Queensway branch are infinitely more polite than the Chinatown branches, but that doesn’t say much) I keep going back, time and time again.

They seriously make the best roast duck I’ve ever had, anywhere on this planet.

ps. I’m also happy that it’s Friday! :)

Four Seasons on Urbanspoon

12 Thoughts on “bite sized: it’s the little things… or a little duck.

  1. Wow looks amazing! It reminds me of walking through shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur where all the duck was hanging up ready to eat…and it smelt amazing!

  2. Yep I love the roast duck at the Four Seasons as well – best in Bayswater!

Four Seasons is the best for duck! I buy 2 whenever I’m there – one to eat at home and one to freeze and eat later (and for my daughter’s school lunch – her friends are now fans). Clearly you’re feeling better Catty – good news.

  5. Oh my goodness! Please tell me you ate the whole stack? ;-)

  6. Oooooh, I want it. You KNOW I want it.

Four Seasons is overrated, you can get better roast duck and dishes in general from Gold Mine down the road and Pearl Liang in Paddington.

  8. Lay the Table: sadly nothing compares to food in Asia! But this is still pretty good :)

    Gourmet Chick: Definitely!

sunfug: LOL I haven’t done that before (bought extra to take home) but I should start doing that!

    Maria: um, nope ;)

    Linda: who doesn’t?

SueLynn: I’ve tried Gold Mine several times and it’s good – but somehow the Four Seasons sauce is just better in my humble opinion :)

  9. Happy weekend dear Catty! I love me some roast duck too, especially when wrapped in those Vietnamese roll things with plum sauce.

  10. Ooh that color on the duck is amazing.
