Since I blogged about our hunt for the best burger in Sydney, a squillion (ok, not really) recommendations have fallen in my lap and our list of burgers-to-have is getting scarily long. Not that there’s anything scary about eating a burger or twenty.

The first two we’ve tried so far have been brilliant. There was the Lotus cheeseburger, which was impossibly small but oh SO tasty, and on Wednesday, we met up with Suze, Penny and Raff, on Raff’s recommendation that the burger at Glass BrasserieΒ at The Hliton was pretty phenomenal.

No expectations or anything, Raff πŸ˜‰

Well, the burger was preeeeeetty fricking fantastic. For $20, you get this juicy wagyu burger (with bacon, cheese and BBQ sauce), fries and a beer or wine (or soft drink for softies like me) which is actually damn good value compared to Lotus, who charge $16 for a small-ish burger and just the burger, nothing else.

This burger was meaty, juicy and hefty and also comes with a whole large pickle on the side, which I’ve completely hidden in the above photo. Because I’m clever like that.

So, do we rate this? Hell yeah! Panu said he’d definitely be back, and rates it more than Lotus. I would listen to him because he’s way fussier than I am. I mean, I love all burgers like they’re my children. Can you blame me?

Oh, and Merry Christmas!
