This morning, I ate ice cream for breakfast. I shit you not, I woke up all stressed about work and the only thing that could make me feel better was drowning my anxiety in a big bowl of cereal milk ice cream. Well, at least it was cereal milk, right? That’s practically healthy!

I know, I know, I’m so slack at blogging but hey, I’m on instagram!
Hope everyone has an awesome weekend. I’m loving this cold, sunny weather!
I have a confession to make. This “searching for Sydney’s best burger” thing? It’s a total sham. I mean, I am looking for Sydney’s most delicious burger but if I find it? Am I going to tell you? Well, NO, because then my search would be over, wouldn’t it? And where is the fun in that? So I’m just going to keep looking for Sydney’s best burger and in the mean time, for the sake of this project, I basically have to go eat burgers. All the time.
I’m taking one for the team.

When we had dinner out in Townsville over the Easter weekend, I instgrammed a photo of the sake-tini that Panu had and when someone asked where it was from, I said “a Japanese restaurant in a little town.” My sis-in-law jumped all over that in a second claiming that Townsville is in fact a “city”. But then, why call it TOWNsville?
Heh. I digress.
Did everyone have a good weekend? Over here, I had one fabulousssss weekend for a squillion reasons, not in the least because it was the first time I got to sleep in in over a month (and yes, you bet I made good use of that) but because a tiny event happened out of the blue and my life is now forever changed.
In case y’all don’t follow me on twitter, facebook, instagram or um, you’ve been under a rock, you would have known that I was in Townsville last weekend helping my baby niece celebrate her very first birthday 🙂
Well today is her actual birthday, Friday the lucky thirteenth! She celebrated in style with a strawberry cupcake for breakfast but all I can do is look back on photos from the weekend and miss her so badly my little heart aches.
