I work from home four days a week. When I tell people this, the most common reaction is to tell me how lucky I am. And then I explain to them that I work every single night to midnight, and often have calls starting again at 6.30am, and except for an hour or so during the day when I sneak off to do some exercise, I am just working. All. The. Time. Then they realise I’m not so lucky.

But I am lucky. Because I get to make my own lunch at home four days a week!

As you may know, I’m not very creative with my lunches. I usually cook up a big batch of quinoa (surprise!) on Monday and use it through Thursday. Unless I run out. Like this week. Yesterday, I had my favourite fall back lunch, a packet of Indomee with a fried egg. I added some sambal and it was so frizzzackingly spicy I had to have some ice cream to put out the fire in my mouth. Had to.

Fridays I normally indulge in something awesome to kick off the weekend 🙂 Like these Milk Bar by Cafe Ish chicken wings and burger today:

Ai’s freaking awesome chicken wings

Wonder what next week has in stall? More quinoa? Ya think?

Have a great weekend everyone!
