Hello! If you’re after a recipe for red velvet cupcakes, there is a “fawking awesome” one here.

If you want to win some awesomely cool, then read on.

Today is my birthday after all. At a ripe, young age of thirty-something, I’ve learnt that it is not all joy in hoarding presents. Well, just a little bit. But really, how many pairs of oversized hotel slippers does one need? (Yes, I completely accept hotel amenities as gifts, especially nice smelling moisturisers and individually wrapped toothbrushes. What, you think I’m kidding?)

But today, let me give you a gift. Well, a chance to win a gift. Which sort of means it’s not really a gift but for today, it is. Capish?

Anyway.

Have you guys heard of Moo? If you haven’t, then you should. In a nutshell, Moo produce high quality business / greeting /mini / any time cards.

You can make them as quirky and fun as you like, or totally mundane if that’s how you roll. The beauty of Moo cards is that you design your own cards from scratch or you can use one of many standard templates that they have. It’s a tonne of fun deciding on designs and really awesome when you receive a card which says “Name: Catty | Title: The Big Kahuna” because trust me, you ain’t ever getting that from work.

I’m actually a repeat customer of Moo’s. I’ve had three sets of cards made with them – two mini sets and a regular set – not because I hand out hundreds of cards but because they’re too cute to resist! I’ve recently ordered a pretty simple set, with five designs based on food. (Really? Food? Really.)

So, the good people at Moo are offering three of my readers a set of 50 Classic Business Cards each, including shipping to anywhere in the world. The first winner will also receive 25 Greeting Cards, just because. The prize will come by way of a code which you can claim after you’ve designed your cards on Moo.

How fun! It’s super easy to enter too. I always try and buy myself something nice for my birthday. It’s all about self love really. Past presents have included a new laptop, Rado watch, jewellery blah blah but as I’ve gotten older, I’m more excited about experiences. Tonight, for example, we’re off to Momofuku Seiõbo for dinner!

So to enter, tell me what is the best present you’ve ever bought for yourself?

    • Competition closes midnight Sunday 23 September AEST;
    • Winners will be contacted via email on Monday 24 September;
    • This competition is open to anyone worldwide;
    • The prize is non-refundable and non-transferable;
    • Winners will be chosen using random.org.

    Happy Birthday!
    The best birthday present I ever got for myself was my dog. I got him for my birthday right after I broke up with a boyfriend. He made it all better and is still with me 10 years later. 🙂
