fat stacked ricotta hotcakes with bacon ice cream from Cowbell 808, Surry Hills

There are more truths to life than death and taxes. For me, for example, other truths include the fact that:

  1. Breakfast is unequivocally the best meal of the day;
  2. People keep asking me for breakfast recommendations in Sydney-town; and
  3. Instagram has single-handedly reduced my blogging by 50%.

Fact, fact and more fact. So without further adieu, sit back and soak up the breakfast food p0rn that is about to besiege your eyes (all taken with instagram, of course). These are some of Sydney’s best breakfasts.

Wow, I’m exhausted! And hungry! Anyway, I hope this post serves to:

  1. Give evidence that breakfast is indeed the best meal of the day;
  2. Provide a quick guide to good breakfast around Sydney and the inner west suburbs; and
  3. Well, this could have been 20 blog posts, but at least I did an extra one 🙂

  3. If my Instagram stream and my blog were children, the elder sibling (my blog) would be SO jealous of the attention that little-IG gets off me.

    Oh, and I am so jealous of your brekkies and brunch. One day, I will get to say the magic words: ‘I’ll have mine with Turkish bread and a long black, please’.

  4. OMG it’s like a plethora of brekkie and they all look awesome!!

  5. Clare: Breakfast is always my favourite 🙂 Yes, come to Sydney and try some of these places!

    Richard: Indeed it is!

    Mr Noodles: hahahaha, I can imagine you would say that with such pride too! LOVE IT 😀 And yes, IG is totally the favourite second child. Sad but true, hey? And to think you were so anti-social media before! How things have changed!

    Nic: Hehe thanks! they all are!

  6. Hehe I see that you’ve embraced Sydney in all areas including breakfast!! 😛 I wish that places served breakfast all day, I love breakfast food but I also love sleep!

  7. Hhahaa I don’t think I could ever sick of seeing breakfast type foods 🙂 They’re just too good to resist!

    I just wished I had the chance to go to Cowboy 808! Damn next time bring me please!
