Tukdin: authentic flavours of Malaysia and a new favourite *heart*

In case you didn’t notice, my wee bloggie here has gone a little bit matcha crazy lately. Eating matcha, baking matcha, dreaming matcha and oh hai is that a line of green matcha powder there? Inhaled. Sorry but I probably would sniff matcha if that was the only way to consume it, I love it that much.

To divert my one track mind from this AA-able addiction, my girls and I had our date night at Tukdin last week, a Malaysian restaurant who don’t sell matcha and *gasp* don’t even have green tea.

fat pants day: consuming Taste of London, 2010

It happened again. This time last year, I remember waking up, frothing at the mouth excited like someone was giving me a puppy wrapped in a ticket to Vegas on Christmas morning. I wanna vent about Awana: a hefty bill, terrible service and where's my durian?!

Awana. A-don’t-really-wana blog about Awana. Mainly because I don’t usually like blogging about negative experiences and well, last time I blogged about bad service, the place closed down! Granted, it wasn’t because of me that they closed down – it was because of the bad service, clearly!

Anyway, in my don’t-want-to-blog-about-Awana-ness, I’ll summarise my experience in three dot points:

  • The food is actually pretty good ~ yay!
  • But it cost a ridiculous £50 per person ~ boo.
  • And the service is atrocious ~ double boo.

That’s my review and now I can talk about other stuff!
