It’s the little things that make me happy. Blue skies, hugs and matcha kitkats. What really makes me happy though is roast duck, especially roast duck from Four Seasons. Despite the bad service (although, staff at the Queensway branch are infinitely more polite than the Chinatown branches, but that doesn’t say much) I keep going back, time and time again.

They seriously make the best roast duck I’ve ever had, anywhere on this planet.

It’s been a while since I made anything matcha huh? Sorry about that, life’s been kinda… hectic and all that and I’ve also discovered that Candy Cafe in Chinatown makes a matcha ice cream smoothie – I KNOW! – so I haven’t had to make my own! But over the weekend I got the matcha itch again and basically had zero ingredients on hand except cream, white chocolate and gelatin (and I always have matcha) so…

It’s taken me a week to gather enough courage to face my Venice photos. It’s been a tough week back at work. Well, you know, a day at the spa would be difficult after four magnificent days in Venice. Four days of nothing but blue skies, good food and GE-LA-TO-yeah-BABY.

But I digress. Work hasn’t allowed me any “me time” (um, hi boss! not that I have any me time at work. much.) this week and so now at midnight on Friday night, I’ve finally gotten around to  sorting through the hundreds of photos we took so that I can share some here with you guys.

And now I’m craving gelato.
