I try to eat healthy. Don’t laugh, I really do! I mean, granted I live and breathe burgers and ice cream (and too much other deliciousness) but give a girl a break all right? I also have healthy salads and snacks every day. For example, my in-between-meal snacks generally involve fresh and dried fruit and lots of mixed nuts. The fruits I love, but the nuts can be challenging sometimes, especially when I’ve eaten all the macadamias and cashews. Because they are totally way better than all the other nuts.

I’m not really sure why, but people often ask me for NYC recs. I mean, really? Really? If I told you to eat at Shake Shack every day you were there, would you? Because that’s totally what I would tell you to do. And when you get sick of it, if that’s even possible, I’d tell you to head down to the East Village and get a lobster roll.

The Federation Burger @ Charlie & CoSeasoned Angus beef pattie with tomato relish,
tomatoes, lettuce, aged cheddar, fried egg, bacon, sautéed onion and aioli 

Panu and I are on the hunt for (in our very humble opinion) the best burger in Sydney. We like our burgers. I’m not sure if it’s the casualness of it all, the simple yet satisfying combination of good beef on a good bun with good sauce… but there’s something about burgers that we just love, and well, we want to find one which truly steals our hearts here in Sydney.

But we’re yet to find one (and recommendations are most welcome).
