I had to go to the post office today. I work from home and yet Every. Single. Time. we receive a parcel, it comes in the form of a “sorry we missed you” card and “oh hey, please now go out of your own way to pick it up from the post office”. Do you think, maybe, just maybe, the postman didn’t even try buzz me?
I think… definitely.
It’s no secret that I like easy things. Anything that can be done with least effort, oh yeah baby send it my way. Don’t be hating, you hard workers, I know that secretly, you too would totally take the easy way out, if you can get the same awesome results.
Which leads me to this super delicious, super easy, 3-minute “pasta” dish.
Believe it or not, there is something in this world better than birthday and Christmas presents. Yes sirree, there is. And that is birthday and Christmas presents that arrive early, or even better, those that arrive late, because there’s nothing more awesome than thinking the fun is all over, and voilà! Present!
Right?
It was Thanksgiving in the US yesterday. I started this post wanting to write something about being thankful, but wanted to be… you know, witty, and not corny. But alas, I have run out of wit, I don’t want to be super corny (like, I am thankful for my mum) and will just stick to stating the obvious.
Like, boy, am I thankful for Oreos.
I just want to say… how frizzzzackingly good are mangoes? It’s been a great start to the season with all varieties of mangoes coming in sweet and juicy. My all time favourites are Bowen mangoes (from Queensland) but these big, juicy Calypso mangoes ($4 for 2 @ Harris Farms on the weekend) are pretty darn good.
I love summer fruits!
People often look at Panu, and then they look at me (or my blog or my instagram feed). And they wonder how on earth he looks the way he does when he has to live with me. Not that there’s anything wrong with living with me. I cook, I clean, I don’t snore and I even smell quite nice, or so I’m told. And on the odd occasion, I also bake some awesomely delicious things.
What does Panu bring to the relationship? Well, he has a mad six-pack.
So I’m not complaining.
