It was Thanksgiving in the US yesterday. I started this post wanting to write something about being thankful, but wanted to be… you know, witty, and not corny. But alas, I have run out of wit, I don’t want to be super corny (like, I am thankful for my mum) and will just stick to stating the obvious.

I just want to say… how frizzzzackingly good are mangoes? It’s been a great start to the season with all varieties of mangoes coming in sweet and juicy. My all time favourites are Bowen mangoes (from Queensland) but these big, juicy Calypso mangoes ($4 for 2 @ Harris Farms on the weekend) are pretty darn good.

I love summer fruits!

People often look at Panu, and then they look at me (or my blog or my instagram feed). And they wonder how on earth he looks the way he does when he has to live with me.  Not that there’s anything wrong with living with me. I cook, I clean, I don’t snore and I even smell quite nice, or so I’m told. And on the odd occasion, I also bake some awesomely delicious things.

What does Panu bring to the relationship? Well, he has a mad six-pack.
