Update 20 Aug: Random.org has chosen a winner out of over 400 submissions! Thank you all for participating and congratulations to Karen. I’ll be in touch!
So, despite the fact that I go on and on and on about instagram, I have to admit that I still whole-heartedly love my camera. My little Canon Powershot s90 is a few years old now, but it still takes the best photos that I have on this blog and blows the socks off the iPhone camera in low light. Even though it’s only a point and shoot, it still takes great photos like these – untouched and unfiltered.
OMG unfiltered! The instagram fairy in me just died a little bit.
Everyone needs a camera. It’s not just great for food photos, because interestingly, not everyone is obsessed with taking photos of their lunch. I know, weird, right? Whether you’re travelling, partying or checking out the local food scene, you’ve got to have your camera on hand to make you some clear, pixel-free memories 🙂
Want a new camera? Sure you do!
Anyway, long story short. The wonderful people at Jazzed want one of my readers (that’s you!) to win a brand new Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30 Digital Camera, valued at $389. Jazzed is a new dating site for young Australians – and though I’m neither young nor on the market, I think sites which connect people based on personalities are great and I have a few friends who’ve met their significant other this way. Also, I quite like Jazzed for giving my readers a camera 😉
So, how do you enter the competition? Easy!
{the competition in now closed}
Each entry above will increase your chances of winning so why not do all five? Good luck!

To photograph dad waiting for us to come home safely, early mornings, standing outside, in his singlet and jocks, unaware neighbours watch and laugh at him.

When my family and I went over to Bali, we came past a shop with Bibi guns. The guy offered to give us a free shirt if we did something for him. He told one of the 18 year old boys to bend over so he could shoot him in the bum. 3 Shots, bare bum, 3 big welts. Wish i captured that hillarious moment!

A few years ago now but I wish I’d had my camera when the bank mascot’s head fell off and rolled down the gutter whilst he was dancing in the street parade.

Wished I had my camera when my non-sporty, academically gifted teenage son, thinking no one was looking, picked up one of my 5 kilo dumbells and began doing some bicep curls – think Sheldon from Big Bang Theory doing weights!!! Priceless.

When two of my young boys got into the eggs while I was showering. I didn’t think of getting the camera. I was in shock of what the kids and my kitchen looked liked.

Hubby ran in the opposite direction, knocking over and landing in a heap on top of all our pushbikes. No pushbikes were harmed in the making of that photo opportunity…
