Update 5 March 2012: Lotus Bistro has closed. I am SAD ๐Ÿ™

Excuse the crummy photo. We actually ate in the bar area at Lotus, which was almost pitch black and because I don’t use any fandangle apps like Photoshop, I milked Microsoft Office Picture Manager’s “brightness and contrast” tool for all it was worth and voila!

I had to share this with you because this is, to date, the best burger we’ve had in Sydney.

ALL I have been craving all of last week was a Starbucks matcha frappuccino. Now, I know there are a hell of a lot of Starbucks haters out there, but to appease the swelling unease at me blogging about Starbucks at all, for the record, I never have their coffee. Ok so it helps that I actually never drink coffee, period. But that’s besides the point.

But what I DO love about Starbucks is their matcha frappuccino! With extra cream today. Just because.

It’s the little things that make me happy. Blue skies, hugs and matcha kitkats. What really makes me happy though is roast duck, especially roast duck from Four Seasons. Despite the bad service (although, staff at the Queensway branch are infinitely more polite than the Chinatown branches, but that doesn’t say much) I keep going back, time and time again.

They seriously make the best roast duck I’ve ever had, anywhere on this planet.

I haven’t had time to go through my squazillions of photos from Venice, but here’s one that sums it up nicely. Sitting on our hotel’s private dock, eating one of manymanymany gelatos. And wearing stripes.
