I was a little bit anxious about my visit to Moo Gourmet Burgers. Having been to Moo a couple of times, I’ve always come away with a red, sore mouth, completely beat up from the hard, crusty roll. Maybe I have a tofu mouth! But Panu agrees that the buns we’ve had were tough, as did the random person sitting at the next table during my last visit, complaining about her tough bun.

So yesterday, I psyched up my mouth and together, we made our way into Newtown ready to be abused again.

Day 3 of my Airtasker burger run! I knew I was going to have a meh burger at some point, I was just quietly hoping it wasn’t going to be for the next say, five years. But alas, it came rather sooner than that. My cheeseburger at Burgerlicious makes this review easy because all I need to say is “meh”. Just look at that unmelty cheese! Epic fail.

When you’re a kid, people often ask what you want to be when you grow up. It’s a redundant question really, because at age 32, I still don’t know what I want to be (well, not any more than I did at age 6, when I was pretty sure I wanted to grow up to be a rhinoceros). But one wisdom holds true and that is that in the search for the ultimate career, one should look to do something that makes them happy. Easier said than done, I know, but I think the holy grail of all careers would be to get to do something you really love, something you would do for free even, but have someone pay you to do it.

Seriously. Fawking awesome or what.

Perhaps a hint of something sparkly, at the bottom of your champagne glass?

I don’t know.

When Chestnuts Australia Inc. first contacted me to offer me a sample of chestnuts, I was beside myself with excitement. I love chestnuts, and it conjured up memories of strolling through Milan in the middle of winter with snowflakes falling and keeping my hands warm around a cup of fragrant, fresh roasted chestnuts.

Romantic, no? Well, now that I know what is involved in the actual “dealing with the chestnut”, I can tell you it is not quite as romantic as what my mind recalled.
